South Shore Country Club Review

South Shore Country Club, located in Hingham, Massachusetts is a course that is located in the town that I live so I do have a bit of a bias towards it.

After a bit of time off from golf, while my children were young, this is where I came back to the game. This tough golf course made me a better golfer today and though it was a challenge at times, I stuck with it.

I am glad I did.

I love the fact that it is a challenging track will many hills, elevated greens and blind shots.

This makes you think more about your shots and the risk versus reward. Do you want to score well and have a nice round and if so, do you risk finding trouble?

Today, I have a better appreciation of South Shore Country Club and actually quite enjoy playing here. It is not just the layout or design of the golf course though, it is the people and the folks who manage the course and work here that make it a special place.

The golf course is truly a diamond in the rough and is a golf course that is supported by the town and its residents.

Not only does it offer golf but an array of other activities and programs that are enjoyed by many. We’re talking about weekday bowling leagues, kids bowling birthday parties, swim and tennis programs as well as junior golf and ladies golf clinics. Everyone can find something here that they can participate in.
